Unsigned / Independent Female Rapper, SHEE was recently acknowledged by Black Web 2.0 as one being of the most powerful Black Women on Twitter. The list which also included the likes of Angela Simmons, Nicki Minaj, Trina and Alicia Keys was almost entirely comprised of celebrities.
The list was NOT generated based on favoritism or personal preferences but rather with metrics and statistical information from respectable sites with online measuring tools such as Klout and TweetGrader. Some of the criteria used include large number of followers, retweets and memberships on user lists.
Boasting well over 130k followers, which is extremely rare for any recording artist lacking major label support , a national platform or coveted celebrity co-sign; SHEE came in at a respectable #87. Visit Black Web 2.0 and view the article and full list by clicking here.

Resurrecting the Lady Emcee – SHEE Gets Mention on Popular Blog
Expressing disdain with the present state of female rap, Wendell J. Tucker, Executive Producer of Theori Productions (Chicago's Premier Hip-Hop Theatre Company and home of “I Still Love H.E.R.”) showed optimism toward the future of female rap by referencing two emcees, SHEE along with fellow New York native, Quintescence. It can be found on 'Wednesday’s with Wendell' where he serves as a guest poster on popular Chicago Now’s “The Kyles Files.” Check out the article by clicking here.
In a penetrating and clever write-up, the author mentioned the things he respected about the female emcees of yesteryear and cited areas he felt took women off-track in the hip-hop genre. Showing the impact of social media, Chicago-based Tucker acknowledges learning of SHEE through the popular social networking site, Twitter. Check out the article by clicking here.
